📌 Academic Policies

  • Students must maintain a minimum activity level of one login per week during active semesters.
  • All submitted assignments and build projects must be the student's own original work.
  • Academic dishonesty (griefing others' work, copying without credit) will result in disciplinary action.
  • Students who fail to meet minimum academic requirements after two warnings may be placed on academic probation.
  • Grade appeals must be submitted within 7 days of results being posted.

🎓 Graduation Requirements

  • Complete all required courses for your chosen degree program (minimum 80% completion rate).
  • Submit a final graduation build or project — a showcase of skills learned throughout your program.
  • Maintain an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher (on MUA's 4.0 scale) for the full duration of study.
  • Fulfill at least 20 hours of community service on the MUA campus (helping new students, club participation, etc.).
  • Pass the exit interview with your department Dean or designated faculty member.

📱 Technology & Server Rules

  • No hacks, mods, or cheats that give unfair advantages are permitted on the MUA server.
  • Approved mods (Optifine, shader packs, minimap mods) are permitted for personal use.
  • Students must use their registered Minecraft username when connecting to campus servers.
  • No unauthorized modification of others' builds or campus property.
  • Server downtime for maintenance is scheduled in advance and announced via the News page.

💰 Financial Policies

  • Founding student tuition waiver applies to the first academic year only, unless extended by scholarship.
  • MUA Credits are virtual academic currency used within the university system — not real money.
  • Scholarship recipients must maintain eligibility requirements throughout their scholarship period.
  • Students may earn additional MUA Credits through academic performance, competitions, and community service.

🤝 Respect & Inclusion

  • Treat all members of the MUA community with respect, regardless of background, skill level, or nationality.
  • Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • Constructive criticism is encouraged; personal attacks are not.
  • Support your fellow students — MUA is a community, not just a competition.

🏗️ Building & Campus Rules

  • Only build in designated areas assigned to you or your class project.
  • Do not grief, destroy, or modify other students' builds without explicit permission.
  • Campus public areas must be kept clean and respectful of the MUA aesthetic.
  • Large personal builds require prior approval from a Campus Builder or Faculty member.

💬 Communication Standards

  • Use appropriate language in all campus chats, Discord servers, and community spaces.
  • No spamming, excessive caps, or disruptive behavior in public channels.
  • Disagreements should be resolved through proper channels — contact a Moderator or Advisor for help.
  • All communications on MUA platforms are subject to moderation and review.

⚠️ Violations & Consequences

  • First Violation: Verbal warning from a Moderator or Advisor.
  • Second Violation: Formal written warning placed in student record.
  • Third Violation: Temporary suspension from campus access (1–7 days).
  • Severe Violations: Immediate permanent expulsion with no appeal for severe offenses (griefing, hacking, hate speech).
